EA hasn’t announced anything yet, but The Sims 5 is still likely a while off. We think we’ll be waiting until at least 2023 – 2024, unless EA and Maxis are further along in the development process than they are letting on.

This would be a huge improvement in the view of many players, and will likely continue to be at the least another option for future releases
